Privacy Policy

Scope

This policy applies to the Cavalyra website, PWA and future iOS/Android versions.

Local-First Storage

Horse profiles, horse images, health records, training data, GPS rides, Cavalyra Body Scanner images, documents, PDF reports and course progress are stored locally on the user's device.

Technologies

Cavalyra uses IndexedDB (via Dexie.js), Local Storage, browser cache, Service Workers and PWA storage.

GPS Rides

Location data is processed only when ride tracking is actively started and is used for route, duration, distance, speed and gait estimation.

Cavalyra Body Scanner

The Cavalyra Body Scanner is an observation and documentation tool and does not provide veterinary diagnosis.

Documents and Reports

Documents and PDF reports remain stored locally. Users are responsible for backups.

Paddle

Payments, subscriptions, invoicing and taxes may be processed by Paddle. Merchant of Record configuration should be verified before launch.

License Validation

License keys may be validated through serverless functions. Horse data, GPS routes and scanner images are not transmitted for validation.

Netlify Hosting

Technical logs may be processed for security and service delivery.

Future Cloud Sync

An optional cloud sync feature may be introduced later. Users will be informed separately before activation.

Minor Users

Minors may use Cavalyra. Paid subscriptions may only be purchased by adults or with required parental consent.

GDPR Rights

Users may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and exercise other GDPR rights.

Paddle als Zahlungsanbieter

Zahlungen und Abonnements werden über Paddle abgewickelt. Paddle fungiert als Merchant of Record und verarbeitet hierfür erforderliche Zahlungs- und Abrechnungsdaten.

GPS-Ausritttracker

Die durch den GPS-Ausritttracker ermittelten Kilometer-, Geschwindigkeits-, Schritt-, Trab- und Galoppwerte stellen technisch berechnete Schätzwerte dar und können von den tatsächlichen Werten abweichen.

Cavalyra Bodyscanner

Die Analyseergebnisse des Cavalyra Bodyscanners dürfen nicht als medizinische oder veterinärmedizinische Diagnose verstanden werden. Gesundheitsentscheidungen dürfen nicht ausschließlich auf Grundlage der Analyse getroffen werden.

Kurse

Die Kurse ersetzen keine individuelle Betreuung durch Reitlehrer, Trainer, Tierarzt, Hufschmied oder Osteopathen.
